Question: What you have learned to LIS 10?
In our major subject (LIS 10 which is Information Technology 2), helps me to learn more and developed my skills, capabilities and also my talents. This Info. Tech 2 deals with the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware. And also our teacher discuss with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.
As days goes by, my learning develop more and it can helps me to apply it to my studies. Because now a days, we should adapt the demand in using high-tech gadgets in searching and locating our assignments. With the things that I have learned from Maam Lyna, I’m not afraid encountering things related to computers. But instead, I’m comfortable and proud of using it. My learning from this subject really helps me in my daily activities in life. It’s not too hard for me to take this subject because I have time studying my lessons; I am willing to learn it so that someday I will become one of the famous professional librarians in this world. I can’t enumerate all the lessons that we discussed but one thing is for sure, I learned and it will be stored in my mind forever and I will apply it in our real life situation so that this lessons would be worthy. It is because of the strategies of Maam Lyna implemented; she let us learn manually through our own efforts and by using computer directly.
Like, she wants us to use the power point in presenting our individual reports so that we could apply our learning. At first, we don’t have any idea how to use that. She thought us and let us put our assignment in writing things about anything to our personal blogs. I’m so proud to myself because at the end of our semester, I learned a lot and I can use it to my studies as library science students.
